Free Meeting
Initally, I offer a free meeting so you can determine if I am the Doula for you. If you decide to book me I will commit to you 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after your due date. I will make sure my diary is clear for you before that first meeting. You can come to me or I'll come to you.
Phone & Email Support
On booking you will be able to contact me for phone and email support during and right up until your baby arrives. During this contact I can sign post you so you can explore your choices.
2 x Prenatal Visits
We will meet twice before your baby arrives. Not only does this allow you to get to know me better but you'll have the opportunity to air your fears and concerns and I'll be able to point you in the right direction to get the information you need.
During labour
Once you are in labour I am a phone call away, once I arrive at hospital or your home, that is where I'll stay until your baby arrives with you. I will also stay and make sure everything's put back in place and make you and your partner a light snack so you can both enjoy those first precious moments with your new arrival.
As a Doula, I Do Not:
Perform any clinical tasks
I am not and Doulas are not medically trained. Therefore, I will not perform examinations or checks on you, ever. Nor will I deliver your baby I am there for YOU.
Baby feeding Support
As a trained Breastfeeding Peer Supporter, I will be able to help with the best positions and attachment for you and your baby. I will support you however you choose to feed your baby.
Make decisions for you
I can't make decisions, give advice or opinions. However I can signpost you, which will enable you to make an informed choice.
Postpartum follow-up visit
The following day, a few days later or later that day I will visit you all to see how you're getting along and if I can help in anyway during your "babymoon".
Fees
The fee starts from £400, but I can this can be tailored to your budget needs. Please contact me for further details.
I also offer birth prepartion courses from £150.00

The best thing I ever hear is "YES I DID IT!" You did it, not me. This empowerment is yours, it's your birth, your baby, your family, your choices. I am there to allow you to feel all of the above.
